Something New!

Here is a new lithophane. These are carved out of Corian, a Solid Surface material. They are actually carved in reverse, and the image is displayed as light passes through from the back. The image is created by the light due to the varying depth of the carving and the translucency. Pretty cool! The left image is taken from the front with no light passing through. The other is with sunlight passing through the lithophane. These can be mounted in a light box, on a lampshade, or in a window for amazing results!
